Abstract:
Neutron reflectivity is a powerful technique for characterizing polymer membrane systems. Neutron reflection provides detailed information about surface structures, including the thickness, density, and roughness of any film deposited on a substrate. In fact, the analysis of neutron reflectivity data involves several simplifying assumptions about the structure of the sample under study, affecting the extraction and interpretation of information from the experimental data. Molecular dynamics can be used as a source of structural and dynamic data with atomic resolution. This method has the capability to estimate experimental data for benchmark testing, thereby scrutinizing the structural characteristics determined by neutron reflectivity experiments.
